- made with Briggs & Little 100% wool and MacAusland’s 100% wool roving
- length from bottom of cuff to tip of fingers: 12 1/4 in (31.1 cm)
- patterned all around so can be worn on either hand
Description
The village of Port Williams is where we raised our family and where I knitted countless pairs of these mittens for growing hands so I can’t think of them as anything other than home. The natural white heart-shaped stitches are called thrums – short pieces of unspun roving that create a shaggy and super-warm interior. This style is a classic all over Atlantic Canada.
